2004 Automotive EMC Conference

February 3 & 4, 2004 - Dearborn, Michigan USA

Welcome to the 2004 Automotive EMC Conference Website!

Registration is Closed.

This conference is being organized by The Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the IEEE EMC Society in conjunction with committee members from the SAE Electromagnetic Immunity Committee and the SAE Electromagnetic Radiation Committees.

SAE EMI and EMR committee members and Automotive EMC engineers will present EMC specification change highlights from GM, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, SAE J551 and SAE J1113 EMC Standards in a two day conference.

The Automotive OEM Common EMC Spec Effort will be discussed.  AEMCLRP, NARTE, A2LA, ISO 17025 and IC Task Force updates will also be presented.

A CD ROM  and writing tablet will be issued at conference registration for each attendee to document the presentations.  Seating will be classroom style, so you may bring a laptop computer if desired (but it is not required).  There will be extremely limited AC power available, so if using a laptop you should depend on battery power only.  Presentations submitted after the deadline may be found at website http://emcsociety.org/Auto2004/   A username and password to that website will be issued to all conference attendees via email.

The venue is the Ford Motor Company Conference and Event Center in Dearborn, Michigan (Near Henry Ford Museum)

Registration is Closed.

A new SAE Automotive EMC Handbook (HS-3600) will be available on the registration form at a reduced price ($199.95 retail value).
