Congratulations to Poul Andersen for achieving the
 Region 4 Outstanding Professional Award!

 

Poul Anderson is the recipient of the IEEE Region 4 Outstanding Professional Award in recognition for his many contributions to the development of automotive EMC test methods and standards.

 Biographical Statement

Poul Andersen is an IEEE Senior Life Member and received a BSEE Degree from Wayne State University. He was Senior Engineering Specialist with Chrysler Corporation and was responsible for the development of both the EMC test capability and the current International and SAE Automotive EMC Standards. Poul is named in eight patents relating to vehicular electrical system and has presented several papers at IEEE EMC Symposia, SAE Workshops and other venues.
